Things are starting to come together for the stitch-in on Saturday – my mum (thanks mum!) has put herself in charge of tea and coffee and will be making some gluten-free cakes; Jane, Sandra, Gen, Ann and Rebecca (among others) are going to come along to help with cake and knitting – and I’m trying to remember to breathe!
This is where the Stitch-In will take place – on the Gallery of the church – there’s a lift up to it if you have difficulty climbing a flight of stairs – if my daughter is around, she’ll probably want to “help” you use the lift (children aren’t allowed to use it unless they are with an adult!!)
Bring your needles or hooks and some yarn (white or gentle neutrals please) – we will have some available, if you don’t have any, and there will be quite a few of us around to help learners if you need it. Bring some money – we will be taking donations (in return for tea or coffee and cake), and help us have a great morning.
The address (thanks for the reminder, mum) is All Saints Church, Victoria Square Penarth, CF64 3EH – it’s just outside the town centre, and there is on-street parking. If you’re coming on public transport, it’s a 5 minute walk from Penarth Railway station.
So looking forward to it – all we need now is you!
